SALLY’S WAY TRURO AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOMES READY FOR OCCUPANCY!!
CHR, local and state officials, community members, affordable housing advocates, and new residents celebrated the completion of Sally’s Way on Friday, September 20, 2013, with an Open House and Ribbon Cutting.
A development conceived in 2002 as part of Truro’s Master Plan for the site which now incorporates the Library, Community Center, Council on Aging, and the Puma Park Playground.
16 rental homes at Sally’s Way Truro were developed and are managed by CHR under a land/lease designated developer agreement contract with the Town of Truro.
Infrastructure construction for residential development was completed in December 2011.
On May 9, 2012, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts announced that CHR was awarded $1.5 million in DHCD housing subsidies for the construction of Sally’s Way.
Construction began in December of 2012.
